AK-TTL Pentax Wireless TTL Radio Flash Triggers

Good news fellow Pentaxians – looks like we finally have a wireless TTL solution. Aokatec (http://www.aokatec.com/) are apparantly the first to offer such as soltion for Pentax cameras. I sent them off an email and this is what I got back:

The AK-TTL convert optical signals to radio, it retain all functions of original optical wireless system, giving it a range of up to 110 meter/360ft.

For Pentax pttl, need turn on pop-up flash or have a master/controler flash on camera. AK-TTL will compatible with Pentax, Metz, Sigma flashes.

The AK-TTL also can work as a simple flash trigger.

The AK-TTL will be released within one month. The estimated price will be US$160/set.

Hopefully they will accept my request for a review unit and I will be able to write up a detailed report soon.
